The Antibes Rally was founded in 1966 by a group of friends who were passionate
horticulturists and car enthusiasts. Initially named “Rallye des Roses,” the 59th
edition of the Antibes Côte d’Azur Rally covers a route of 772.24 km, divided into 2
stages and 6 sections.
The festivities kick off on Thursday, May 10th, in the late afternoon, with a gathering
at the Pré des Pêcheurs in Antibes. From 5:00 PM, attendees can enjoy musical
entertainment, games for children, and admire the competition cars. At 6:30 PM, a
parade of vintage cars sets the tone for the event, followed by an autograph session
with the drivers.
This is the longest day of the rally. The race starts at 7:15 AM with a loop of three
special stages in the backcountry of Nice. The crews will pass through villages like
Villars-sur-Var, Tournefort, and La Roquette-sur-Var before returning to Antibes
around 8:30 PM.
Highlight at Valberg to meet the drivers
One of the highlights of the day will be the stop at Valberg from 10:15 AM to 2:15 PM.
During this break, timing stops, and the drivers will be available to sign autographs
and interact with the public. It’s the perfect opportunity to meet your idols and
experience a unique moment!
It’s the final day of the rally. The crews will tackle another loop of three special
stages, this time around the Col du Turini. This stage promises thrilling battles among
the drivers.
And that’s not all; a service stop is scheduled in Cagnes-sur-Mer.
The Antibes Côte d’Azur Rally offers several categories, including events counting
towards the French Rally Championship, historic events, and events reserved for
new energy vehicles.
